Sebelum Mengeluh

Ini ada beberapa kutipan kata-kata motivasi hasil browsing yang dulu aku temuin. Kenapa dulu? Karena emang dulu, waktu masih bulan Januari 2010. Awalnya aku posting ini di note facebook. Hope it will help you as much as it help me and i want to share it with all of you so you could have the same experience in changing your life to a better life. 

1. Hari ini sebelum kamu mengatakan kata-kata yang tidak baik, pikirkan tentang seseorang yang tidak dapat berbicara sama sekali. Sebelum kamu mengeluh tentang rasa dari makananmu, pikirkan tentang seseorang yang tidak punya apapun untuk dimakan.
2. Sebelum anda mengeluh tidak punya apa-apa, pikirkan tentang seseorang yang meminta-minta di jalanan.
3. Sebelum kamu mengeluh bahwa kamu buruk, pikirkan tentang seseorang yang berada pada tingkat yang terburuk di dalam hidupnya.
4. Sebelum kamu mengeluh tentang suami atau istrimu, pikirkan tentang seseorang yang memohon kepada Allah untuk diberikan teman hidup. 
5. Hari ini sebelum kamu mengeluh tentang hidupmu, pikirkan tentang seseorang yang meninggal terlalu cepat.
6. Sebelum kamu mengeluh tentang anak-anakmu, pikirkan tentang seseorang yang sangat ingin mempunyai anak tetapi dirinya mandul. 
7. Sebelum kamu mengeluh tentang rumahmu yang kotor karena pembantumu tidak mengerjakan tugasnya, pikirkan tentang orang-orang yang tinggal dijalanan.
8. Sebelum kamu mengeluh tentang jauhnya kamu telah menyetir, pikirkan tentang seseorang yang menempuh jarak yang sama dengan berjalan.
9. Dan disaat kamu lelah dan mengeluh tentang pekerjaanmu, pikirkan tentang pengangguran, orang-orang cacat yang berharap mereka mempunyai pekerjaan seperti anda. 
10. Sebelum kamu menunjukkan jari dan menyalahkan orang lain, ingatlah bahwa tidak ada seorangpun yang tidak berdosa.

a bed but not sleep

a computer but not brain

food but not appetite

finery but not beauty

medicine but not health

luxuries but not culture

At any school, there are always the superior and inferior students. The names are only different, but ‘A’ and ‘B’ exist. I want to ask everyone this… Are dreams only for those who have talent? If you don’t have talent, should you not dream? If you want to dream, you need to close your eyes. If you close your eyes, it doesn’t matter how other people see you. When you close your eyes, you do not see how other people see you, but you see and face your true self. When I closed my eyes, the person I faced said 
“Don’t give up on your dreams. Because dreams are not only for the talented but for those  who dream” 


In our own school, there are a lot of people with talent. Whenever I see my friends, I feel like I’m so lacking in so many areas. Like a turtle; a turtle can never keep up with the hare or rabbit.
